"I am an Italian native, born in Forli – Emilia Romagna.
As a young woman dreaming of travel I took the opportunity to move to the US seeking more understanding of myself by exposing myself to a totally different culture and environment, enchanted with Carlos Castaneda, Jack Kerouac and the ideas of freedom that the American West sparked in my imagination.
I have remained deeply sentimental about Italy especially its beauty: its varied landscapes, the mosaic of the many cultures it hosted as a peninsula positioned at the center of the Mediterranean sea.
I love the spontaneity and length of gatherings, usually around the table and the way in which no conversation is off limit, but an opportunity to engage and deepen relationship.
Traveling back home often and being a native speaker has afforded me the opportunity to interpret some of the cultural nuances with the sensitivity of someone straddling both here and there. I would love to share some of this with you.
